From July 1, 2023, Australian universities and colleges are implementing new visa rules and work-hour caps for international students. Indian graduates will have the opportunity to work in Australia for up to eight years, and the allowable work hours will increase from 40 to 48 hours per fortnight. I attended Access Institute, Magarpatta, for 4 weeks during the summer of 2023. I was able to achieve an overall band score of 8 for the academic version, with individual scores of L-8.5, R-9, W-7, S-7.5. I particularly appreciate the institute's focus on techniques for each section, which greatly contributed to my high band score. Reading is often considered the most challenging section, but thanks to the techniques explained by Dr. Ritu ma'am, I was able to tackle it successfully. Initially, I had some hesitation with the Map question in the Listening Section, but after receiving guidance from ma'am on how to approach it, it became one of my favorite question types, and I consistently scored high during practice. Writing is another section which needs a lot of pre-planning along with proper time management and thorough practice. The techniques shared by ma'am for Writing section was not only easy to understand but also easy to implement. I take pride in being a student of Access Institute, and I wanted to share this feedback publicly. If you are preparing for the IELTS exam, I highly recommend consulting with Dr. Ritu ma'am.
