Why Canada is Easier for Immigration Than the US

Immigration to Canada is often considered easier than the US due to several factors. In this article, we explore the reasons behind Canada’s reputation for being more accessible to immigrants.

  1. Immigration Policies: Canada has clear policies and programs, like Express Entry, which streamline the process for skilled workers. The US immigration system is complex and subject to changes.
  2. Point-based System: Canada’s point-based system allows candidates to assess their eligibility and compete for immigration opportunities. The US lacks a comprehensive point-based system.
  3. Provincial Nominee Programs: Canada’s PNPs offer additional pathways tailored to regional labor market needs. The US lacks a comparable program.
  4. Healthcare and Benefits: Canada provides comprehensive healthcare and social benefits to immigrants, ensuring accessibility and support. The US has more limited access to healthcare and benefits.
  5. Cultural Diversity: Canada promotes multiculturalism and inclusivity, fostering a welcoming environment for immigrants. The US faces concerns about immigration policies and potential discrimination.

Canada’s transparent immigration system, point-based evaluation, PNPs, healthcare, and inclusive culture make it an attractive destination for immigrants. However, careful consideration of personal circumstances is vital when making the decision to immigrate.

Access Institute is a trusted immigration consulting firm that provides personalized assistance throughout the immigration process. With our expertise, we offer eligibility assessments, document preparation, and submission services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Our licensed professionals can liaise with IRCC, facilitating effective communication. Access Institute also offers language training programs to improve language proficiency. We provide personalized immigration policies, tailored to individual circumstances, and offer a comprehensive understanding of immigration options. So, get in touch with Access Institute today to guide you on your immigration journey.

Did you know? a high IELTS Score can help your immigration chances to Canada or Australia

A high IELTS band score significantly impacts an individual’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, which is used to assess eligibility for immigration to Canada through the Express Entry system. A higher CRS score increases the chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency. Similarly, in Australia, a high IELTS band score can enhance an applicant’s chances of meeting the language proficiency requirements and qualifying for skilled migration programs.

Access Institute understands the significance of a high IELTS band score and offers specialized coaching to help immigration aspirants achieve their desired scores. The institute’s experienced faculty members provide comprehensive guidance, exam-oriented strategies, and extensive practice material to familiarize students with the IELTS exam format. Access Institute’s tailored approach helps students improve their language skills and overcome specific challenges they may face.

Our student Abhimanyu displayed exceptional performance in the IELTS Academic exam, achieving an impressive band score of 8.5 out of 9. He excelled particularly in Listening with a perfect score of 9, while also securing strong scores of 8.5 in Reading, 7.5 in Writing, and 8 in Speaking, showcasing his overall proficiency in the English language as well as the efficacy of our training techniques.

His scores were-

Listening: 8.5/9

Reading: 9/9 [Perfect Score]

Writing: 7.5/9

Speaking: 8/9

Overall IELTS Band Score: 8.5/9

Access Institute’s focus on practical learning and mock tests enables students to develop confidence and fluency in using English in real-life situations. The institute’s support and personalized attention ensure that students are well-prepared to excel in all four modules of the IELTS exam – listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

By choosing Access Institute, you can also significantly enhance your chances of achieving a high CRS score and successfully applying for permanent residency in Canada or Australia. Our expertise, specialized coaching, and commitment to students’ success make us your reliable partner on your path to immigration.

Canada Introduces NEW Category-Based Selection Draws for Express Entry: Focus on In-Demand Professions

Canada’s Immigration Minister, Sean Fraser, has introduced category-based selection draws for Express Entry candidates, focusing on individuals with strong language proficiency or work experience in healthcare, STEM professions, trades, transport, and agriculture/agri-food. This move aims to attract in-demand professionals to various communities across the country. The implementation of category-based selection in Express Entry will enhance its responsiveness to the evolving economic and labor market demands of Canada. It will further reinforce the successful economic immigration system of Canada by emphasizing the crucial role of human capital.

Access Institute supports students and professionals in pursuing education and employment in Canada, offering courses in high-demand fields and comprehensive assistance throughout the immigration process. With partnerships with Canadian immigration authorities and experienced staff, Access Institute provides guidance, eligibility assessments, document preparation, and a thorough exploration of immigration options.

Work experience requirement waived for engineers in Ontario, Canada

In a significant move, Ontario’s Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) has become the first professional association in the province to eliminate the Canadian work experience requirement from their application criteria.

This announcement was made by the Ontario Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, who believes that removing this requirement will help qualified professionals enter the field they are trained for. The aim is to address the common issue of skilled newcomers working in low-wage jobs unrelated to their profession.

By eliminating this barrier, PEO hopes to create more opportunities for skilled professionals to practice their professions in Ontario and contribute to the province’s workforce. This change aligns with the government’s commitment to supporting newcomers and recognizing their skills and qualifications. It also sets a precedent for other professional associations to review their criteria and consider similar changes.

Access Institute, as an immigration consulting firm, can assist skilled professionals in navigating these changes and achieving their career goals in Ontario. They offer personalized guidance and support throughout the application process. With this change, qualified professionals now have the opportunity to excel in their chosen fields and contribute to Ontario’s continued growth and success.

EXPRESS ENTRY SETS HISTORIC MILESTONES IN MARCH 2023, OFFERING EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMMIGRATION TO CANADA

EXPRESS ENTRY SETS HISTORIC MILESTONES IN MARCH 2023, OFFERING EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMMIGRATION TO CANADA

Express Entry achieved several significant milestones in March 2023, including the highest number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) ever issued in a single all-program draw since its inception in 2015. The Canadian government plans to welcome over 82,000 new immigrants through Express Entry in the next three years, as indicated in the Immigration Levels Plan 2023-2025.

The month of March saw four major achievements, including

1. The largest all-program draws in Express Entry history

2. The issuance of 21,000 Invitations To Apply in two weeks,

3. The lowest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement in 2 years.

As of March 29, the cut-off CRS score fell to 481 after coming in at 484 during the March 23 draw and 490 on Mach 15.

Success in the Express Entry system is predicated on high Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores. This is because only those who have a CRS score above the cut-off score for a particular draw will receive an ITA from IRCC during that round of invitations.

We at Access Institute Magarpatta can help you to meet this cut-offs with the help of a high IELTS band score. Our extremely successful IELTS training module has guided many aspirants to their dream country, and you can be part of that success story too!
